Born in London, Rowena House was a foreign correspondent in Europe & Africa for years before turning to fiction. Her first publication was a prize-winning short story set in France in 1916 for Andersen Press’s WW1 anthology, War Girls (2014). Her novelisation of that story, The Goose Road, was published by Walker Books (2018) and described by The Telegraph as “a gem”. She lives in south Devon with her husband and teenage son.
