Born within the sound of Bow Bells’, I lived in East London for 30-odd years before moving to a tiny Spanish village in the mountains. Here, I was alternately distracted and inspired by my three daughters, worked for an English Language newspaper, and wrote Black’s Crackle – a novel, self-published through Booktango. I amassed drawerfuls of poetry, some of which has appeared in print (in Red Rock Dreaming, McFarlands Publishing, in fourW Anthology, Booranga, Australia, in From Afar, Arts & Culture magazine, Exeter and in the Utopia Project, Issue One, online magazine). I am completing an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter, and working on another novel, Outlandish, along with plans for an online magazine, writers group and small publishing venture.
