WebsiteI am currently completing a collection of short stories inspired by trees. I am dual-trained as both an oil painter and art historian, with a PhD (Art History and Museum Studies). I am an elected member of AICA (International Association of Art Critics) and as such have published over 100 articles, as well as writing for ‘The Spectator’, 2000-2012. Having worked as an art curator, I have also written exhibition catalogue essays and extended entries for public institutions, such as the Royal Academy, National Museums and Galleries on Merseyside, and Leeds City Art Gallery, and commercial art galleries, such as The Rabley Drawing Centre (Wiltshire).
