I am an emerging author of Children’s fiction and an award-winning theatre-maker, based in Bristol.
I self-published my first book, The Tap Dancing Mermaid, in 2015 after making a celebrated children’s show of the same name.
In 2022 I received funding from Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice grant to develop my creative writing skills, with mentorship from Nicola Davies, Polly Ho-Yen and Anna Wilson and support from Bath Libraries and Seven Stories, The National Centre for Children’s Literature. I am currently writing my first middle-grade chapter book: My Dog Is a Spy (working title).
I am currently Writer in Residence for Bath Libraries and Cathedral Schools Trust in Bristol.
