Sarah Townend
I was a scientist, then a Biology lecturer and hope to be a published author soon. I am a mother to Felicity aged 6 and Otto aged 3. We live happily in Bristol where me and my partner, Tom, were brought together through the underground music scene.
I devour crime thrillers and funny stories with quirky protagonists such as Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, The Rosie Project, Diary of a Wallflower, and the writing of Nick Hornby, Stewart Lee. I enjoy adventure and exploration books by Alex Garland and Bill Bryson, and also the works of Oscar Wilde and Margaret Attwood. I occasionally read Science Fiction – I’m currently into Blake Crouch – and anything else that grabs my attention enough to take me away from my own writing.
I have written one, as yet unpublished novel, Tabitha Fox Never Knocks and am currently embarking on a second of with the working title Twenty Seven.
