Stewart Britten

I was a child psychiatrist, then international development worker in child health and social care. Having left child psychiatry and psychotherapy, I have been doing development work in reducing institutionalization of children in Russia, newborn health in Uzbekistan and for the last 15 years reducing maternal and child mortality in Afghanistan – but working from UK with periodic visits. The book I am writing is likely to be called “Progress?”, with some subtitle. As for style, I am trying to pull out only salient facts and not to be too depressing!
