I’m a Devon born and based former journalist. I honed my writing skills on the Western Morning News before moving to BBC Radio Devon. Upon leaving I became a primary school volunteer listening to children read. That lead to my first, but unpublished, story ‘The Rainbow Reader’. In November 2015 my story ‘Tuamor the Turtle’, about marine plastic pollution, was published and is used in schools for National Curriculum project work. In May 2019 I published ‘Archie Space Dog!’ a story about my dog dreaming of going to the moon. Both books are fully illustrated by Mark Hannon.
