Angela Porter

I write verse poetry; sonnets etc. and belong to The Classical Poetry Society. I regularly contribute to Reach Poetry (Indigo Dreams Publishing) and to Nine Muses Poetry e-zine. A booklet of poems “Embroidering the Deep” is published with Indigo Dreams Poetry (2008) following winning their booklet competition (the prize was for three winners each to have a booklet published and I was one of the poets). My Royalties come from education; university, distance learning and more recently audio visual sources.
I have been a composer associated with a group in Colchester. Then I have a work of art retained with the Creative Arts Retreat Movement. I once was a member of The Society of Art of Imagination.
I like to write about people and place, creativity, nature and environment. I am looking to broaden my writing experiences.
