I am a writer and watersports instructor living in Cornwall. I love being by and on the ocean and in the countryside. I am inspired by women’s lives, old English country homes, nature, the ocean, feminism, surf culture, sustainability, and notions of freedom. My writing heroines include Daphne du Maurier, J.K. Rowling, and Virginia Woolf. I am currently writing a novel about a family, set in Cornwall, and spanning twenty years. I am also working on several children’s book ideas, and regularly post my poetry on my blog. Previously, I was a Journalist and News Team Manager at MuggleNet.
